How I Claude – Intro

I’ve been a Claude subscriber since 2024, and I’m not going to lie, it’s been a love-hate relationship. Looking at my subscription emails, there’s a clear pattern of me switching between Claude and ChatGPT, but I always end up coming back to Claude. Then Opus 4.5 came out, and honestly, I think it’s the best model I’ve used.

It changed how I work. I ship more features now, and when I joined a new team with an entirely new and massive codebase, Claude helped me ramp up much faster than I would have on my own. It’s not a fairy tale—sometimes Claude goes down a rabbit hole when it doesn’t need to, so it still needs guidance. I always review its changes once it’s done.

The Claude team is phenomenal. MCP, hooks, skills, they keep shipping and improving the product, and it shows.
